Accounts Manager:

The ideal candidate should have substantial experience of working in an accountancy practice and being in charge of training team members as well as processing work projects based on deadlines.

The position involves processing weekly accounts, working and delegating to technicians to complete as well as controlling all other areas of clients’ routine work.

The ideal candidate will have already been involved in this role in other practices and will have a keen sense of planning and supervising workflow.

Ideally, AAT qualification and Xero experience preferred.

Full-time position working Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (½-hour lunch break), Friday 8:30 am – 1:30 pm. 28 days annual holiday + Bank Holidays + Christmas shut down. Part-time may be considered.

Payroll/bookkeeper Technician:

A full-time position for a semi-senior/bookkeeper ideally with several years’ experience of working in an accountancy practice.

The candidate should have a thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and payroll and ideally have substantial experience of Xero cloud bookkeeping systems.

The candidate will be required to complete payroll work without supervision and to be able to finalise bookkeeping to management account stage.

The ideal candidate should have good project deadline awareness and organisation skills.

The role has the ability to progress and to ultimately train junior members of staff in these areas.

Salary will be competitive but subject to experience. AAT qualification, but if part qualified support will be given to complete the qualification.
